Cats aren't built to drink from a bowl.
In the wild, cats got most of their water from their food and trusted water that moves. Still water can pick up dust, hair and a stale taste within hours, and many cats simply drink less from it.
Vets often recommend encouraging your cat to drink more, and fresh, moving water is one of the easiest ways to do it.
A fresh filter keeps it that way. The sponge catches hair, the carbon reduces odors and the taste of chlorine. Swap one every 2 weeks and the water stays clear and appealing.
